How do I get Customer Assistance?
The phone number you call depends on the type of contract you purchased:
For information on your Vehicle Service Contract (VSC), Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) or Certified Select Wrap, or Prepaid Maintenance Agreement (PMA), please call 800-647-7261 or SMS/Text to 615-675-9353.
For Ancillary or Financial Protection Plan information on contracts purchased on or after April 1, 2025, please call 800-475-9016
For Ancillary or Financial Protection Plan information on contracts purchased on or prior to March 31, 2025, customers must first contact their selling dealer and then call 800-338-2680 for any additional assistance.
For Roadside Assistance
If your Security+Plus contract provides for Roadside Assistance:
To request service, your plan specific, 24/7 toll-free number can be found on the tab at the bottom of this web page, and can also be reached via this link – Roadside Assistance. You will need to know the type of plan you purchased so that you contact the service provider covered under your contract.
Where can I take my vehicle for service?
A good choice would be to take your vehicle back to the Nissan dealer where you purchased your Security+Plus contract. They are the most qualified to process your claim quickly and effectively. For help finding your nearest Nissan dealer, go to Search Nissan Dealer database or call Customer Assistance at (800) 647-7261.
If I move or am traveling away from home, do I still have coverage on my vehicle?
Yes, you can take you covered vehicle for repairs at participating Nissan dealers anywhere in the United States (excluding U.S. Territories).
How do I verify coverage with a repair facility?
With Security+Plus plans, your Nissan dealer can look up your coverage using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or license plate number.
What does my service contract cover?
Contract coverages and exclusions vary based on the specific vehicle service contract purchased. Please refer to the General Contract Exclusions and Contract Provisions sections of your contract.
How do I file a claim or receive authorization for repairs?
Your Nissan dealer is responsible for any required authorization and can assist you with any questions or concerns. They are required to give you an estimate for any repairs that fall outside your coverage or any deductible included in your contract.
Do you pay for the repair directly, or do I have to pay and then get reimbursed?
In most cases, we will pay your Nissan dealer directly for the service (less any applicable deductible) as long as they have contacted your Plan Administrator for payment authorization before initiating work.
If I paid for the service myself, how do I file a claim for reimbursement?
Your service contract will give you the correct information on how to file a claim. You can also call the plan-appropriate claim number listed below to ask for assistance.

Do I have a deductible?
Your Vehicle Service contract will have your plan’s deductible information. Generally speaking, Prepaid Maintenance, Auxiliary and Financial Protection Plans do not have deductibles.
How do I extend, renew, or cancel my contract?
Security+Plus contracts cannot be extended or renewed, but you can cancel your contract. Read your actual contract, paying attention to the state-specific information, to find cancellation details. You may also contact your plan administrator or call Customer Service at (800) 647-7261 for more information.
If I sell my vehicle, is my contract transferable?
On most plans, you can transfer the remaining coverage to subsequent owners of the covered vehicle in the case of a private party sale only. See your contract for transfer request details. Note a transfer request must be made within the cited time frame (usually 30 days from sale date) and include the state-appropriate transfer fee.
